The Iowa Distance Learning Association (IDLA) is a non-profit association formed to promote the development and application of distance learning to education and training.

IDLA is comprised of professionals serving learners in all walks of life throughout Iowa, the United States, and the world. Among the constituents we represent and serve are K-12, area education agencies, higher education, continuing education and corporate training.

Our goal is to bring together professionals in distance learning areas from education, corporate training, government and military organizations to share our experience, knowledge, and expertise to better serve lifelong learners.
